Moe Lauzier

According to Northeast Radio Watch, former WHJJ talk host Moe Lauzier (nicknamed Moe "Lousier" by the late Steve White) has been let go from WRKO in Boston after 25 years as a weekender.

Last weekend he was told 15 minutes into his show that it was going to be his last one.

He put A notice on his blogspot page by 8 AM and the Boston board, as well as Savewrko.com and radioequalizer.com has been running with it since. It also made Fybush's NERW on monday, as well as Jessica Heslam's Herald column

Howie Carr was referencing "spackle and paste" a good part of the week to tear into WRKO's decision to go infomercials in Moes time slot. Jason "coffee boy" Wolfe issued some statement about how people were beating down the door to work with WRKO (read that as buy saturday morning infomercial time) but yesterday morning at 6 it was an hour of the Felon Finnerans Forum, followed by Reese, and then an hour of Howie Carr.

The public opinion is 1000 to 1 against WRKO
