MoJo Fox News almost absent to protect 740

There comes a time in a radio station that one protects at all cost the big boy on the block. This is very evident at the MoJo. Recently they felt there was too much chance that the Fox News at the top and bottom of hour was keeping people from finding the big enema stick on the AM dial 740 KTRH.

The Mojo now carries w&j low lites at the top of the hour. Fox news is absent in drive times and eve's.
It does appear again on weekends and maybe overnight not sure.


Why not just sign off 950 and save your money. This is a sad time for 950.

I'm no big fan of the 9-5-0 but I'm even a lesser fan of Fox "News"...so no [Fox] news is good news!
 
With the simple push of a button, located in San Antonio. Any bets on if KPRC makes it to 83?

I thing the 9-5-0 speaks for itself in respect to running a radio outfit with no employees. I agree with the post above. KPRC should drop that daytime crap they have on now and replace it with high paying paid-programming. At least they'll make money with no employees to worry about. It's hard to believe they have any advertisers left.
 
I would actually be for that. Drop W&J, move mancow to his real time that he broadcast to take the place of W&J, pick up and fill mancows present spot with Neal Boortz with the real time that he broadcast, and Ramsey would fall right in place. I think that would take care of the morning to afternoon as far as my opinion.
 
I don't even bother with 740 or 950. I don't learn anything from them and most of the humor is too predictable.
 
I understand everyone has a news prefrence, but no news is horrid for listener to bear W&J or Mancow lolites!

It is sad we expect this crap! Best wishes to those who loss thier job!
 
Just like our country going to hell! We let big bussiness inslave the unsuspecting for pennies! They bring the cheapest help with no experience and tell them what to do and dont be fooled formatics aint part of the training.

The result is a station like 950 the MoJo. That is slop!
