Wait, the SAME Mojo from Channel 9-5-5?
This is EXACTLY why Clear Channel has completely ruined radio as we once knew and loved it.
JohnJay & Rich are now broadcasting out of Phoenix. NOW they are going to pipe in MOJO from Detroit.
Of course by making this move CC puts yet another local person out of work. Nice going.
Does CC really think the Tucson audience is that stupid?! Only LOCAL radio works best!!!!!

Yep. And the problem is, for the most part they're right. Cheap Channel will just proclaim "...live, from the Brake Masters studio!", like they do on cruel 1450, and 99% of their ever-diminishing will neither know nor care that they're lying.

Apparently Clear Channel thinks any radio audience is stupid. Besides, why are they going to put Mojo in Tucson? I know he was there back then, but his show just doesn't fit in any other city. It like putting a radio show from Kansas and airing it in a major market like New York or LA. Plus his show fits the vibe of Detroit well. If they would want to play the show live, it would have to air between 3-7am. I'm sure teens won't be staying up that late to listen.

While serving in the Army at Ft Huachuca, I dreamed of someday returning to radio to do afternoons or mornings in this market...not too big...not too small...nice weather...decent radio.
Well...at least the weather is still nice.
