Rumor has it that Jon Robinson's female partner, Molly Caroll, on the WDYT-AM morning show is the daughter of WLYT's Jim Shafer. It that is the case, Jim should be a proud father.

She's intelligent, has strong opinions and does not back down when challenged by Robinson or anyone else. Best of all, she's not the giggling "bubble-headed bleach blonde" type that seems to inhabit so many morning radio shows these days, including that great colossus of the South...WBT.

Congrats to Danny Fontana, Bo Thompson and crew on a real find.
 
I get a kick out of Molly's opinions. It's good to hear someone who isn't a female version of the host. She seems to actually have the nerve to disagree with Robinson, without being terse or overzealous.
