Mon-Oc Ratings

Townsquare stations not listed of course, but noticing a drop in one huge station.

Looks like Nash has stolen a little bit of Thunder's ... well, thunder. Predicting a knee-jerk reaction of playing more pop-country to follow within a week or two. Heck, how many times have they done that with G Rock and The Station Formerly Known As The Breeze?

I'd have to say that's still a very good rating. It's not the glory days of last summer, but I'd ask whether those listeners are gone, or are "sampling". If things get tiring on Nash, I'd expect they'll be back...that is, if Press doesn't "tweak" the Thunder format into something equally tiring. We've already seen some staff changes, though - that's not a good sign.

I'm sure there's an obvious answer to this, but I was curious. Is there a reason Arbitron doesn't list every radio station in the Monmouth & Ocean County ratings area? Is it because they're not rated, or they don't pay for the service? Always wondered.

Simply put, Townsquare Media doesn't pay for the service, hence the reason why their stations aren't listed.
