It's been 30 years since Bill first shook up morning radio in Central Georgia on that day in 1982. Nice guy, boat loads of talent and now sorely missed on air.
 
Amen to all of the above. Bill is a major (VERY MAJOR) market talent who (aside from a short sidetrack in Valdosta-opolis), served his Macon area listeners very well. I'm honored to have had the chance to be his PD for a few years. I really didn't have to "direct" very much where he was concerned. In fact, I learned. A lot.

And I'm glad to also call him a friend.
