Monday Night Football

Anyone know why WHTK in Rochester hasn't carried Monday Night Football on the radio this season? Seems to me with the simulcast arrangement with 107.3 FM, the listener base has expanded. In the seven seasons MNF was carried on HTK-AM, I was unable to pick up the signal in Brockport. Now because I can pick up the FM, I don't get the football. Instead I get the Yankees. As much as a Yankee fan I am, this game was meaningless. Will HTK eventually carry MNF after the Yankee season wraps up, or will I have to look for it elsewhere? I don't get ESPN.

I guess "it was decided" that MNF is not as interesting as the Yankees or Michael Savage (I thought that once in a while MNF was carried on WHAM).

I usually try to stream MNF from somewhere. However, it seems to me that there are restrictions on this also, since stations that post that they carry the broadcast over the air either stream something else at that time or nothing at all.

I have had success getting a station from Calgary over the 'net, which means I'm getting the Canadian broadcast of the Westwood One coverage on a local Calgary station... I have not tried this yet in the current season.

Once the Mets season ends this weekend you'll be able to get the MNF games over WFAN (660 AM) out of NYC, which comes in well after dark in the upstate area.

I think the Mets season ended months ago! ;-)
