Money & Grande ... Unlistenable

Granted it might be the least anticipated debut in the history of sports radio, but this might be worst hour of sports "entertainment" on XTRA that I've ever heard. And that includes when Vic the Brick co-hosted Dodgers pre-game shows.

They blew out Hacksaw for this?

JUST BEYOND AWFUL!!!!

Perhaps not a good career move for Money but you've got to give him credit for walking away from the pork factory at Kroq to pursue his hearts desire.
We also need to give them time to get up to speed.

Nick, since this is your first post, let me tell you one thing to keep in mind:

The people who inhabit this board never give anything a chance to "get up to speed" before they trash it.

In fact, I expect the "here's what will happen when Money and Grande are canned" predictions any minute now.
______________

Yeah, well what was the last thing that came around that did get better with time?

KDL? Vick the Brick? Air America? Changing the clock on KNX? Steve Lyons on Dodger broadcasts? George Lopez in the mornings?

I think you get the point.

Yes, I get the point. Like the rest, you have turned completely and hopelessly pessimistic.

Quoting the past doesn't mean everything is automatically the same disaster two days after it premieres.

Remind me not to read your posts if I ever do something in this market again.
______________

I agree with you. Hacksaw is a sports icon for sportstalk fans in So Cal. At least the first 15 minutes of "Good Times" (the title of the Money/Grande show) is Hacksaw's Headlines so after the Saw does his thing, I tune out the rest of the show. Its so unbearable, I tune in to 1090 in San Diego or ESPN 710 for sports.
