Monica Matthews and WSB

What is going on? WSB Radio just sent out the following tweet about Monica Matthews after she criticized Jovita Moore of WSB-TV:

We would like to inform our listeners that @monicaonairtalk is no longer affiliated with our station. We are grateful for her past contributions, but do not endorse her attacks on our partners at @wsbtv. That kind of behavior is not acceptable for any of our employees.

It was subsequently retweeted by Mark Arum and Erick Erickson. This comes a few weeks after Erickson criticized her on Twitter after she was let go.

Neal Boortz used to regularly criticize the AJC and some of their staff. I don’t remember WSB radio ever issuing any statements about his comments.

Have times changed, or was she that disliked?

She was a contract employee...

as are most of their talkers. She probably made $50 a week for her 2 hour show.
It is a low blow to pick on other employees of your own station.
But what ever happened to Monica Perez?
Remember her? They sure do go thru them really fast.

The interesting thing about Monica Matthews’ show was Scott Slade was her producer.

Monica Perez

I once emailed her that she should go syndicated and call herself "Alice Jones."
People are really interested in conspiracy theory stuff.
