Monique and the Man... Sounds like a Man!

I know this has been brough up to death previously, but I decided to check out her show...
And you're all right, she sounds horser than a 60 year old an who must have smoked a hundred cigarrettes. I'm guessing she needs voice training or has nodules or something. But she sounds HORSE HORSE HORSE, Ugh!!!!!!

Was her voice that bad in the begining?

Even on the promos that she did before her show started, her voice was abysmal. She does have a sense of humor about her voice, but that doesn't make it any easier to listen to.

If I knew that her voice was that bad I WOULD HAVE AUDITIONED MYSELF!!!!
I'm pretty sure mine sounds better than hers!
(And I have great sense of humor too. At least, that's what all the women say...)

Well....I guess I've gotten used to her voice because it doesn't really bother me that much anymore. There's also Mel on 94.1 and her cackling laugh that bugs me (IMHO it's gotten better since Duncan left). Then again I just listen to the music. If the voice gets to me I just push the button to change the station. :)

A hoarse is a hoarse, of course, of course.

You just completely hit the nail on the head. That's what my wife and I listen to the radio for as well...music. Jack had music all day and night before this Monique thing started. Now the second she even opens her mouth we hit the button...not what Tracy Johnson had wanted I imagine. We actually bought MP3 players as a result of this new Jack morning show.
