Monroe AAR possibilities

Ive posted lately about potential choices for AAR in Northern LA. With the recent poor showings from KMBS and KNOE, maybe there is an opportunity. KMBS has a decent daytime wattage and a lousy nighttime signal. KNOE has a lovely signal to reach quite a bit of northern LA. Should AAR make some inquiries? One additional question, with land being so reasonabhle in that area could either station be upgraded to a 50,000 watt firecracker.....AAR could reach so many "red" listeners.

KNOE "upgraded"? They are 100,000 watts from my understanding

He's talking about KNOE Am 540.... There are Three KNOE's owned by the Noe family.

KNOE am 540 at 5kw day/1kw night
KNOE fm 101.9 at 97kw
KNOE tv ch8/dtv 7 at 316kw

Yeah KNOE Am could possibly be upgraded to 50kw I don't know as that would be numbers that would have to be looked at for that. But personally, If the Noe family is as conservative as they are about the music on their radio stations, IMO I don't see it happening, but others on the board who know North Louisiana radio better could say....
