Monroe/Surrounding Areas

Is anyone on here near Monroe? This board has died down so much, I am curious if anyone is still around...

Question #2 from me... Does anyone know why KQID keeps going off the air for a week at a time? I noticed it, as I cume through them (since I program a CHR myself). Twice now, they have been off for days.

Chris, long time no see! KQID has been at low power off and on, I am in Lafayette and I can barely pick them up when they are at low power, so you must not be getting a signal at all during those times. Why they are doing that, I have no idea.

Mighty fine down here in Lafayette (Eunice), thanks for asking. I admired your passion for a good sound and good processing the short time I worked with your group there, I wish I could have stayed a bit longer, everyone there was great.

Thanks for the concern! KQID will be back to full power with a state of the art transmitter soon! As you know lightning is not our friend! And after 25 years its time to upgrade! Thanks for listening!

Thanks Matt... I didn't know if it was another lightning hit or just an aging transmitter. I am also the IT manager at our building and our studio took a lightning hit a while back. It was a nightmare putting the automation system, etc... back together.
