Monroe TV tower falls during storms

KMCT in Monroe evidently lost their tower due to a tornado in the strong storms that moved through recently...(the old tower that was still standing also fell...that may have caused the newer, in service tower to fall)

Not sure if there was any FMs on it...

Hop no one was hurt. The TV Station will likely be able to keep the programming going to the cable company, but if there were any radio stations on it, they might be off the air for awhile. Same if there were any cell providers on it.

Hopefully KMCT has the resources to provide alternate delivery of its signal to cable companies and satellite. I suspect it doesn't have deep pockets, as evidenced by its 14 kW ERP. It's owned by the First Assembly of God of West Monroe, which likely means it's dependent on donations to support its programming.
