Monsoon Casualty: TV Stations

The August 28 Monsoons has knocked off the following stations

KAET PBS 8 (Analog, all digital channels)
KNXV ABC 15 (Analog, all digital channels)
KPAZ TBN 21 (Analog, all digital channels)
KTVW Univision 33 (Analog, all digital channels)

Also, many low-power stations have been knocked off. Haven't seen that many stations being knocked off the air for a long time.

Interestingly, my DirecTV signal didn't drop even once during that several-hour storm last night. Even in the heavy rain (and I mean HEAVY!).

KNXV was showing "Grey's Anatomy" at the beginning of the 10pm hour, until they could get their newscast back on the air. Were they just taking ABC's West Coast feed in real-time to accomplish that? Or did they just replay the telecast that they took from the East Coast feed earlier?

KTVK's lights went off for about 15 seconds during the 9pm newscast. Royal was doing the weather, mentioned that the lights were off, continued his forecast, and then the lights came back on. If Beverly had been talking, she probably would have freaked out. Royal is the consummate professional broadcaster! Too bad, we don't many left...

At one point during the storm, I had KAET 8.1 and 8.4 (local origination) but not 8.2 or 8.3 (satellite-fed). At another time, the only digital stations I had were KPHO, KSAZ and KPPX.

Also, I had KTVK 3 and KPNX 12 analog, but not digital.
