Gadsden and Montgomery stations part of Clear Channel sell-off of 187 stations to GoodRadio.TV License LLC for $452.1 million.

Gadsden stations being sold are:

WAAX-570 Gadsden
WGMZ-93.1 Glencoe

Montgomery stations being sold are:

WHLW-104.3 Luverne
WWMG-97.1 Millbrook
WZHT-105.7 Troy

Status quo, likely. Would've been nice to see localized owners get them, but since GoodRadioTV is a pretty new company, let's see what they do with them.

Didn't CC pay 17M for ZHT? This averages out to 9M per so how did CC come out on this deal? Up or down? On the average they lost 8M on ZHT but may have made it up w/ others??

I have heard some scuttlebutt that a local group headed up by a local food store chain owner is possibly going to purchase the Montgomery Stations from GoodRadio!! It will be interesting to see!
