Montgomery Has A New 250 Watt Translator Coming

The FCC shows a cp for a 250 watt translator moved from Alexander City to Montgomery at 107.1.

The Street Committee won't reveal what Al Stroh will do yet with this translator.

I bet he'll do a rebroadcast of WVRV 97.5 FM from Pine Level Alabama.  He already has one translator, at 101.5 but it doesn't cover all of Montgomery too well.  I was recently visiting the Gump and this station came in very well, on the West side but not so good on the east side.  To fix that problem, me thinks he'll go that route.

Don't we need another hip-hop station in Montgomery? ;D

Maybe it could be the alternative to all of that -- a hybrid -- perhaps hip-hop country oldies? Gangsta country? Thug classicz?
