Radio Reunion 2.0 coming to Bluewater's 1170WACV
If you are a current or former broadcaster in the Montgomery market, we are looking for you.
Back in 2006, WACV-AM 1170 aired two "Radio Reunion" shows. One was dedicated to mostly WBAM-AM 740 and WCOV-AM 1170 personnel; the other saluted the old WHHY-AM 1440 by putting their 'waking crew' back together again.
Since then, many of our listeners have expressed a desire to hear the familiar voices again. So, here we go.
We have seven former jocks committed to August 2 and/or August 9. Maybe you know someone who left the business, but is still living in the area and would like to participate ... pass the word. Perhaps you are still on the air somewhere, but want to reminisce about your Montgomery days ... you, too, are welcome to join in.
Radio Reunion 2.0 will be a part of "The Saturday Morning Show" on WACV-AM 1170, which airs weekly from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. To find out more, visit www.1170wacv.com or send an email to [email protected].
