"MOON LIGHT" REPEATS TO AIR ON CW

It was announced today that repeats of the canceled CBS series, "Moonlight" will air this summer on the CW, following repeats of "The Vampire Diaries". Has this ever happened before? A series canceled by one network airing repeats on another network? Wasn't there a similar situation with "Jericho"? Will we see more crossover between CBS and the CW, especially now that rumors are floating around that between the CW network, the CNN-CBS news sharing possiblity and the sharing of NCAA College hoops, that the two companies are esssentially in a partnership.

If so, my request is that CBS starts airing "the Vampire Diaries" as a summer series on Fridays or Sundays to give wider exposure to this deserving show.

"Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" was technically cancelled by Fox, but now airs weekly on My Network, does that count?

No word yet on 'Moonlighting'?

Yeah, wasn't that the series that gave Bruce Willis his start? Great show until.....his character hooked up with Cybil Shepard's. That took all the air out of the balloon. Textbook example of a plot decision that ends up being fatal.

Still, a rerun of Moonlighting would probably challenge this "Moon Light" show in the ratings. Never even heard of it..... ::)

Moonlighting was an ABC show. I had never heard of Moonlight, but there was such a show on CBS. According to Wikipedia, it ran from September 28 2007 - May 16 2008. Don't know how true wikipedia is, but this link to
Moonlight and the description of the show. It doesn't sound like a show I'd be interested in watching.
