I know all those songs too! I haven't heard The Al Martino song in years. I used to play it all the time. As for Making Memories, I had the 45! Cab Driver was a big favorite when I worked at WSOC-AM in the '80's. Naturally I knew of it long before that!
Another one of my favorites is "Portrait of My Love" by Steve Lawrence.
In the MOR personalities department I enjoyed John Lupton at WFTL Fort Lauderdale, and Arnie Warren at WGBS Miami. Arnie had a character voice he would do and it was fun to watch him change characters as he talked (to himself) on the air!
