More airchecks from youtube (a 2-day old KXXM)

I disagree.

When Mix launched it was huge and people loved it. Years later it had gotten real reeeeeeeeeeeal bad. It was a huge earsore to listen to around 5 years ago. Since then (if you like that kind of music) I think it sounds great. They've really gotten their stuff together. Its a complete turn around since it sounded godawful 5 years ago. I dont see them going anywhere anytime soon. (As far as format shift is concerned)

Hifi - Thanks for posting. Brought back some good memories. Hopefully I can find it, but I have the actual launch somewhere and the original jingle package that I had to get them to re-sing because they mispronounced 'San Antonio'

I am the guy that posted it! I have a zrock tape too! and a 1992 recording of Hot 103 and KHFI on the same tape. I still haven't got around fixing the tape though on the Zrock. BTW I still have my Mix 96.1 T-shirt after all this time I won it from a call in contest, OMG this was when my girlfriend at the time was in to the Backstreet boys :-[ and I won that off a contest back in November of 1999. Ahhh memories.

I like your 9 at 9 on Bob FM I listen to it every weeknight my favorite is when you play the 9 at 9 from the 70s one day and the next day it is from 1990,1991, or 1992 then it goes back to 70s and then the 80s well the 9 and 9 that has a lot of uptempo songs not too much into the late 90s though.
