WXSS-103.7 Milwaukee (Rhythmic CHR) <(I'm calling it Rhythmic CHR because between March 2003 and October 2003 the station was basically 99.5% rhythmic CHR)
8-27-03 :25min
On this aircheck it'll start with Black Eyed Peas - Where Is The Love. After where is the love an old TOH ID from February 2003 kicked in and was followed by Jennifer Lopez - All I Have, then a liner, 2 seconds of Avril Lavigne - I'm With You then cuts away to another song. This use of old songs was obviously someething they were using as backup (a CD of music and liners maybe) because a couple days earlier I cought them playing the same set of old songs/liners for over a half hour. During that time the DJ said "WXSS Wauwatosa-Milwaukee 103.7 KISS FM" ontop of one of the songs so I knew something was up. Turns out they were having computer problems. Every night during the late evening and overnight the computer would mess up. The DJs were often complaining on the air about it and even making their own liners because they were unable to play any. Here's 25min worth (I had a full 45 but the tape got eaten up. This is all I could save) It cuts into Dr. Demento at the end.

Per the request of Nathan:
WNND-100.3 12-13-02 (Jockless. First days of format)
:30min
This was recorded in the afternoon after I noticed WNND dropped Mainstream AC "Windy 100" for 80s-90s Hot AC "100.3 WNND" on the way home. The flip happened at 12:01AM on either the 11th or 12th. WTNX-96.9 (Now WWDV) switched to stunting for a flip to simmulcast WDRV at the same time.
