Sounds like the rubber may have hit the road for Riviera Broadcast Group [KKFR/KEDJ]. Rumors out of Sin City are that the paychecks for the Vegas stations employees bounced. Also- Lenders have recently made a visit or two to the Phoenix properties, which could spell trouble...I will sniff around for more info and keep you posted should I get a line on anything else.
 
half the building has left. jocks, mixers...only 3 sales persons at power 98.3. sad
 
And just like other stations/groups in the past few years have, Riviera will blame their problems on their national rep firm.
 
I genuinely feel bad for Riviera. Naturally, I think poor choices have factored into their incredible poor performance in the ratings (particularly with KEDJ), but it's still disheartening to see a Titanicesque descent.

I really wonder if it's just way too late to turn things around.
