While this does indeed appear to be a really stupid move, keep a couple of things in mind;

1)These guys are not local, so their Christmas Vacation is really pretty standard. It'll be over before you know it. Besides, NO ONE Will be listening.
The few weeks around Christmas/New Years is not within an Arbitron rated period anyway; that's why you see so many vacations then.

2) Regent Albany will air whatever the Morning guys' main station airs; "Best of" Material...and isn't that the best way to introduce a new team to a new market? Highly edited material deemed the funniest. We shall see.

3) The first guys to replace Stern in any market are not expected to last long.
Anyone replacing Stern will be so highly criticized and examined, shows WILL fall apart. Too much pressure for too little money. Regent knows this. Don't look for these guys, who ever they are, to stick around; they are just filling a hole for now.

4) Regent is pretty much screwed when it comes to their Stern stations. They know it. You know it.
