MORE changes at ABC....

You know, I wouldn't be surprised. He's an awesome on-air personality, I hear a great boss. He's due a Top 10 market. If it's true, I wish him nothing but the best. I know he's very close to several others. so...Who's next?
 
I wonder what this will mean for Fly and ABC....any speculation about who will be brought it...if anyone...we know how many different hats the ABC staff tends to wear...

Also..with this change...will CRUSH stay as is format wise?
 
I would love to see Crush be the way KTU was playing classic dance from the 70s/freestyle on up to today's dance.

To me it's a no-brainer, Marissa. She's the APD/MD. Next in line. If she wasn't offered, I would think it's an insult. Brian Cody wants nothing to do with it. If not her, Chrissy Cavotta? Or outside.
 
I don't think Terry will have the authority to "clean house" at Crush. He can suggest changes, but that will be up to the Ops Manager and GM. I really don't see Mark and Meredith staying much longer. The only reason why they are still there is their contracts.

I heard they were trying to keep Terry at Fly. I doubt they will offer him enough to stay. Townsquare will offer him a decent salary. He'd be stupid to stay at Fly. They pay their night jock $21,000 a year. What a joke!

You are right. One of the duties as PD is overseeing the jocks. He'll listen to each and make a determination. Yes, Pamal was blindsided. And I did hear from multiple sources that 21K is accurate. Which is great for someone living at home and no bills.

21k is a joke in 2011. In a market like Albany, mid 30s would probably be more appropriate. this isn't 1990. Gees.

Correct. Mid 30s is also respectful. 21, KMA...Do a search of salaries and see where it falls.
 
They most definitely did try to keep Terry but he gladly declined.


I personally don't don't think Marissa has enough experience to be the PD...I would guess that they would have her be the acting PD, possibly string her along without compensating her as they should....then they would find someone else to take the position.


Then she would probably be the next to go....


ABC seems to be falling apart...
 
There could be a Top 40 reasons why he declined. Sick of playing certain songs every 2 hours? Dunno. I told ya things were gonna get interesting when Dan Austin took over at Townsquare...He doesn't pull any punches!
 
I think ABC is trying to compete more with town square media, I see changes happening ABC wants a HOT A/C station , they just transformed the bridge over to rock to compete with pyx 106 and q103.

I think town square media wants crush fm to be its highlighted station , wgna is top of the game always has been.

radio is always changing
 
I agree johnarbuckle the morning show at crush fm is not doing good enough it's too plain, I also think mark and meredith will be next on the chopping block possibly, Terry likes changing things and he will do what he can to get those ratings up high and he will fork out more promotions for the station which mike morgan had trouble doing.
