Rumor has it afternoon girl Christy Taylor is out and two guys will replace her. No word on who yet.
 
I think the handwriting is on the wall for Christy and her time here in the market. They put her on the Edge because it is only a matter of time before she either leaves or quits. This is there way of getting rid of her.
 
She took APD/middays on the Edge...was on today.

From what I've heard Fly will replace her with two guys who did rock in Virginia. Should be interesting to see how two rock jocks fit on a top 40 station...
 
Let's all be honest. Christy never fit here on FLY. Have you heard her?? Not a Top 40 Jock, sorry..She's even worse on The Edge. I mean Pi had marbles in his mouth, but at least he had energy on the air!! She sounds like she just woke up form a nap!!

I was wondering what other message board had the Taylor info? Also...it does seem that the GREAT General James is no longer on the Edge website. Did he get the ax at ABC? first PI then The General who will be next?
 
Think FLY is setting up for a format flip? They already play a more AC rockish mix then top 40 other then at night...and now with bringing in two rock guys as their new afternoon show?
 
Fly will never flip. The Edge is gunna suprise everyone. Nik Rivers has the golden touch. Besides, The general james and pi are nobodies. good riddance.
 
I used to listen to the afternoon show with Christy and Mick everyday on my long drive home from work. I dont know what fly was thinking when they got rid of Christy... I could genuinely relate to her opinions... Now fly only has middle aged, washed up DJs to listen to... I never listened to Fly for the repetitive playlists lets be honest... I LOVED the extreme ride home bc of Christy's personality... Guess I will be an edge fan now!

I wonder why Mick left his hometown to go I believe to the mid west (?)..I actually liked his on air persona. I could tell he wasn't thrilled to be paired up with Christy. As a matter of fact there were quite a few times on air they actually quarreled..Wasn't smooth...

Bad move letting him go.

New coming in from a rock station..??? Mmm...Interesting. Why not from a Top 40 station?? Are they leaning towards a rock type format?? If they do, will the Morning Rush survive??? Ohhhhh, the drama!!

Christy would fit in best at Z97 over in Rutland. She would fit in with the rest of the high-school kid jocks on taht so-called CHR.
 
You're possibly right. I can tell you right now, listening to her at Albany Edge. it makes me wanna jump back in radio! Yes, I am a better radio DJ than Christy Taylor!

Nik, make it stop bleeding! If you're gonna have a female rock jock, get Susie from PYX. That girl is a rock jock! Or someone very similar to her!

One Year Anniversary of the morning rush. Mazel Tov! Congratulations! They blend well together. I still miss Candy and Pothead! (sooo jk:)

Or the girl who does Saturday afternoons on EQX. She sounds more rock than Christy Taylor.
