More Changes Coming...

>>Per the PD, no changes will be made. Per a jock, a new logo & name will be there, but no format change.<<

New morning show, new jingles, new imaging, new moniker. Guess what? The P.D. told you wrong. The jock was pretty close in what he told you.

>>Oooh...a black screen with nothing on it. What could it mean?<<

For those with a brain...it would mean the Web site won't debut until the change occurs. Like I said..."And if you'd like to know what the new Web address will be, try: www.1075khits.com"

Wonder if they would bother with new calls? KLDE is a relic of the old imaging, which they are trying to competely expunge.

This is apparently an effort to extend the life of the format by emphasizing that the playlist consists of what could be called "timeless hits." Boomers do not like to think of themselves or their music as being old. The new identity is like renovating an old house, or perhaps putting old wine in a new bottle. The basics remain the same, but in a refreshed environment.

Once the changes on 107.5 are in effect we shall see if Cox sets its sights on sharpening the Point. 93Q could use some work as well.
