More changes for WHIZ

Don't know if it has anything to do with the possible move but I heard a rumor that WHIZ-FM is losing their morning guy. Didn't hear why or when, just heard he is leaving. Can anyone confirm this? Someone mentioned in another thread that he is their #1 guy and other than him they don't have much. What will his departure do to that station?

The FM station is for sale. Announced on the WV message board.

Quite possibly already tentatively sold, pending approval of the CP for any new site near Baltimore.

"Thanksgiving chuckle" Read post by WLPatrick. He is a radio station broker, as well as the owner of the Gallipolis station.

If you read the second post by WLPatrick he says, "We are being rewarded well for bringing this opportunity to them as well as for representing them in the sale of the station to one of the Columbus owners."

So am I reading too much into this or is this suggesting that the buyer is someone already in the Columbus market? I know that doesn't narrow it down but I think then it would be safe to assume it won't be Citadel or Cumulus :)
