More changes to come...

We have 3 more stations that will soon be making a flip or change.
One of these changes is expected to happen tomorrow Sunday (Your favorite broadcaster)
Another hope expected to happen here in about 3 weeks and then the expected change on kfnc also in the works.
we can expect this change tomorrow to become a super signal.
So far I've enjoyed the 92.1 station but being in programming i think its a mistake to have brindis over due poster on social media .. Even voicing some video promos for social media. As the Pd I would have used the same imaging that i have on the radio for social media not try to push Rauls voice. But they seems to be quickly gaining followers on both IG and Fb

That is quite the teaser. Will keep an ear on things. What should be a very interesting 2025 is getting started early with the new La Ley 92.1.
If I'm not wrong, Genio Lucas has been added at KLAT in Houston, KFLC in Dallas and WRTO in Chicago.
KFLC has been running TUDN. Are they flipping to something similar to KLAT? Or are we really talking about LMN sibling KFZO?

99.5 IS NOW LA NUEVA
After over 9 years radio dabang decided not to renew the lease agreement.
I'm guessing they will try to just go digital and will realize the sponsors won't stick around for that.

Since when are local studios needed to have local talent?
Its not but it sure does help. When local talent tries to remotely broadcast , they face a lot of challenges that in the end, they go voicetracking, cant pick up local calls, editing becomes a challenge, local control of playout automation. By the end of the day, it doesnt sound local and djs would rather go to a studio or build a home studio but it doesnt overcome the same challenges.

Curious if Radio Dabang might pop up elsewhere. In its early years it was on KMIC 1590 for a few months, and also made a rather brief appearance on K287BQ 105.3. Might have been elsewhere, but memory a little fuzzy about that.

The website still has 99.5 and the livestream works: Radio Dabang 99.5FM | Entertainment

KEYH is La Grande 104.5 now, don’t know when that changed. Also on 99.5 I heard their TOTH is the same old one they’ve had for years mentioning the 94.1 translator.

Agree, to a certain point. If you're trying to do a morning show in Houston from LA, it's a little tough. If you're in Dallas, not so much.

Question.. Who has been the primary station for 99.5 or have they been running all these years with no primary station?
There was a change in primary station notification submitted to the FCC on 9/19/24 that changed the originator to KEYH. Radio Dabang showed up on 850 for a couple of weeks before the KEYH programming returned to La Grande. No idea of who, if anyone, was originating Radio Dabang since then.

For a number of years the originating station was given as KMIC, but the programming usually was different on the two stations.

Prior to 2016 K258BZ carried NGEN Radio, with KSBJ HD-2 as the originator. That arrangement ended with the launch of NGEN on KXNG 91.7. KSBJ actually owned the translator until selling it to Centro Cristiano de Vida Eterna in 2019.

I seem to recall that Dabang was on an FM HD subchannel at some point, but I might be mixing it up with another South Asian broadcaster.
Now they can say KOHV-LP is on the air
AFAICT KOHV 99.5 has never been on the air. I live within the supposed outer range of its licensed signal, but have never heard anything bothering K258BZ in NW Harris County during normal reception conditions.

KOHV filed to move to 95.3 almost a year ago. No action on that yet from the FCC.

Anyone remember what Centro paid for the translator?
I mean they can say the primary is KOHV-LP (no com) but in the few minutes i heard 2-3 regular radio spots one of them was a commercial for a DR or A clinic.
