More Clear Channel Employee Cuts per Inside Radio

Here's an example of a real spin master at work:

A spokeswoman says the changes will result in more localized programming in local markets, presumably through a greater use of the company’s Premium Choice talent bank. “It offers new opportunities for our best on-air and programming talent to be heard in more places and grow their careers,” she says.

That's just plain genius! Man those CC executive really know how to do radio.

That article from Insideradio is several months old. There is another round of cuts happening, however. 6 people in Phoenix on Friday, 2 of them were there over 15 years and one had just got out of the hospital the day before. The cuts are being made daily, a few at a time.
