More Crawford Changes

I was listening to WXJC this morning, WPHC is now WXJC-FM (again). According to the FCC database, the call change took place yesterday (July 9).

So what is the actual format of WXJC-AM/FM now? Is it all talk? Is there still any gospel from the AM and that (eh) "positive hit country" from the FM? I'm out of the market so I can't listen for myself. :(

The format sounds basically as it did back when Crawford first bought 850, a combination of secular talk and Christian programming.

For now, it's still christian talk and preaching from 5 am-11 am.
Talk in the afternoon - Hank Erwin from 11-1 and Matt Murphy from 2-6 (preaching programs/talk are still on from 1-2, but I thought Crawford originally announced that Lee Davis would be in that time slot, not sure).
southern gospel from 6pm on with Wayne Wallace and the "Caravan"- that's repeated until 5 am

If Crawford is determined to operate both secular and christian formats, I wish he would put them on separate stations, instead of combining them on one station. I figure WXJC will eventually phase out the Christian preaching for all talk (as they did before on 850). But then again...with Crawford...anything's possible. Expect the unexpected.
