More DAVE/Police News

As has already been documented, DAVE-FM has spent most of the past three months hyping a concert that isn't happening (Police in Atlanta). Maybe it's a good thing the Police are skipping Atlanta, according to Police drummer Stewart Copeland, "The singer in the Police jumps like a "petulant pansy," the drummer is making a "complete hash," and who knows what the guitarist is doing?"

Copeland put those remarks on his website after the second show in Vancouver. "This is unbelievably lame," Copeland wrote of Wednesday's show at the GM Place arena. "We are the mighty Police and we are totally at sea."

After reading those comments, now I am upset that the Police won't be here. Not to worry, I'm sure soon to be exiled PD Michelle Engle will force the jocks to say how great the tour is going and how they can't wait to see the Police here really soon.

The only reason ATL dates haven't been announced is due to the exclusivity requirements of Bonnaroo. The boys will be here in the fall...
