more delays Binnie,Shapiro,Nassau....

As of last night about 2:30 am or so I was picking it up in N Reading MA and 106.3 was still playing
Frank liners, etc.
I mentioned the changes on the facebook for WWOD (still on?) and talked about how they're migrating to, eventually, Keeseville NY and listeners could go to 96.3 or 93.9. Reply:
" Good call Bob! Many of us from Oldies were retained by the new owners and will be on the new Kool 93.9 & 96.3- The Greatest Hits of the 60s, 70s AND 80s!"

106.3 formerly "The Bone" out of Portland ME has rebranded as "Rock 106.3." I don't see anything about WFNQ changing. FBHW won't work on a Classic Hits station. Last I heard FNQ was going to simulcast a local morning show within the Binnie Network.

106.3 Frank FM is not changing format. It looks the websites are in transition, but other than the rebranding of WHXR as "Rock 106.3", there are no format changes on the Binnie Media stations.

Thanks, noted. http://radioinsight.com/blog/headlines/79804/northern-new-england-change-rundown/
the rundown on it so far:

WHXR 106.3 Kennebunkport from the Bone to Rock 106.3
"W-Bach" 107.7 in Bah Hahbah / now Blueberry Broadc., // classic hits Big 104 from Augusta and Belfast

WTSV Claremont (1230) from sports to talk "Pulse" //1400 Hanover
As mentioned above, 104.3 WWOD silent w/ 96.3/93.9 doing classic hits
WORK Barre now has calls of WRFK http://www.1071workfm.com/
The site above says "Central Vermont's #1 for classic hits" but call letters at bottom of
page are WPXC-FM? (Formerly Nassau now John Garabedian).
Don't know about WWHQ's situation

WHXR's new facebook page is up, they have a link for ''Rock 106.3'', but it redirects to Godaddy.com.

Here's the new site that Binnie registered
http://www.1063rocks.com/

Bah Habbah :)

It looks like Shapiro's keeping ''Frank'' on 107.1, because of the new call letters WRFK = WR FranK

I think that was WPXC's old site that they replaced with 107.1 Frank FM, because the sites background looks exactly like Pixy's old background. Nassau replaced many of their stations sites last year.

I guess i'll do more research on WWHQ.

Re: WLKZ 104.9

I have a prediction about WLKZ ''104.9 The Hawk''. I went on WLKZ's site and it looks like Shapiro might be rebranding the station, because ''The Morning Buzz'' show will start on Monday. My prediction is it might probably become ''1049 The Buzz''. Maybe it will possibly rebrand on monday.

The Morning Buzz = The Buzz

It makes sense, because it looks like he's doing the same thing with WHDQ ''Q106'' in Claremont, NH.

This is just a prediction I don't exactly know what he's planning on doing with WHDQ and WLKZ.

But here's the link:

The Morning Buzz is Greg Kretschmar and company from Clear Channel's WHEB in Portsmouth. I don't think they'll change the name.

I see this mistake quite often.WHXR 106.3 is Scarborough not
Kennebunkport.
I was within earshot of WABK 104.3 & WBAK 104.7 a few days ago & they weren't a simulcast.

Interesting. Must have read one of the early articles about the bid for Nassau wrong.

Not to be confused with The Daily Buzz, a syndicated morning TV show which airs on WBIN-TV.

The Morning Buzz...

One thing, the show is at least well done. Unlike Free Beer.

New Hampshire,still not "local".

So...anymore big changes?

Will 99.1FrankFM get people soon?

I'm going to guess not till 2013. They are currently promoting commercial free till then. Probably when they'll start whatever morning show and lineup they decide on.
