More E-skip 6-11-12

Car radio on lunch run in Lorain, OH on 94.7 hearing a station called "94.7 the Brew" with a promo for a concert at the Chesapeake Energy Music Theater?? This station was mixing with WCSX from Detroit. Anyone else getting anything?

By Googling, that 94.7 is in Oklahoma City.

All I am getting so far today is channel 2 Global in Bancroft ON (again....I think I see this 3 times a week now in Florida). I seem to be out of the loop, per the maps I am seeing.

What happened to the DX Sherlock site?

It's been gone for 2 days.

Have they moved to another web address or something?

Thanks for the link!

I've never seen that one.

It also seems to take the guess work out of whether certain Es clouds will provide a skip to your specific location.

Other observations from between 1 and 2pm Eastern time today:

92.7 - Heard an ad with a phone number with 816 area code then the DJ saying "Here's your Q-Country weather..." then it faded out. This would point to KSJQ/Savannah, MO
92.9 - Spanish station playing Mariachi type music and caught part of ID in Spanish "...punto nueve" (which means "point nine" in English). A country station was occasionally mixing with this station
94.5 - Heard end of Beatles 'Let it Be' then heard DJ start to give weather forecast which included a Smog advisory. Station then faded out.

KSJQ is a semi-local here. They are definitely Q-Country 92.7.

There are smog advisories in Ontario today.

Was gone, so didn't get to log from FM DX Montreal like I usually do. But the skip last night was great!
