More FM translators for the overloaded Channel 12 tower?

Just a radio geek with some Cincinnati FM translator signal questions..

Is this new W237DW-FM 95.3 MHz Covington, Kentucky, supposedly another Air-1 translator? Even though they have 96.9 off the same tower. Could this be another Clear Channel outlet for maybe 550 or 1360?

Mighty 95.3 Coverage at 6 watts!

Or is this one W272BY-FM 102.3 MHz Cincinnati:

Now has a CP moving from the old original WKRC towers where it's transmitting from now to the Channel 12. Will this be an EMF lease to Clear Channel too? Could it be 550 or 1360 or even 1530?

Maybe they can get all their AM's on FM somehow.

Oh, and what's with this 107.9 Cincinnati one? Air-1 again? Coming from that short cell tower in the OTR valley? Quite a puzzle. Just a geek wondering..

Thanks for any insight, or opinions.

Most of these translators are targeting downtown Cincinnati which is why CC wants them on the air I guess. With internet available in most office buildings, I wonder what's the point of expanding those AM signals in such a limited listening area?

I approached my friends at the K about taking these off of their hands. Being on the CC tower means that they have to clear with CC whoever they sell these Translators to.
Being that i could be a threat to CC (my failed experiment with news/talk) i think that we're out.

That sounds monopolistic to me. Sinclair purchased Channel 12 last year. Is that tower not owned by them? It would seem strange if it isn't since it sits next to their studio parking lot.

Clear Channel retained ownership of the 12 tower, however they are in the process of selling all of their towers in order to make debt payments.
