More HD questions - Pensacola

So I was scanning the dial yesterday morning and stopped on Lex and Terry for some unknown reason. Before I seeked to the next station I noticed my display said 101.5HD1, so I tuned to 101.5HD2 to see what was going on. I don't know why, but TK101 HD2 was broadcasting Active Rock! Just their regular format without Lex and Terry. They even had a voice tracked DJ and I think commercials, or at least a lot of station ids/liners.

At the same time, all the other Clear Channel and Cumulus HD signals were off the air. I haven't picked up an HD signal on 101.5 in ages, now that I do it's just the same thing, possibly time shifted... I don't know. It definitely wasn't Clear Channel's "The Alternative" that used to be on the HD2. What could be the logic behind Active Rock on 101.5HD2?

Good question. I did a band scan this morning on a non-HD radio and didn't hear any sidebands on 101.5. Maybe it was a glitch? ;)

I always liked the alternative rock feed on the HD2 because it carried Sixx Sense or whatever it was called at a time when I could actually listen. It was surprisingly interesting at times for a 'celebrity hosted' music show.

Ever since CC took WNTM off WRKH's HD-2 I quit listening to HD radio. You've got Hit Music Now, KSJ, BLX and WDLT as the only ones operating it anymore.
