More KFI experimentation

After only a couple months, KFI is trying "Kennedy" with Brian Suits at night. Well there's a vote of confidence!

Someone must've been unhappy with what they were hearing to already change the formula. But Kennedy? That sounds like a train wreck on the horizon.

Who do you want to bet quits first?

My guess is that they wanted a dynamic similar to what they had with Ziegler and Leah Brandon. Someone to bounce off of. But it's only a guess.
Plus I hear that Suit's family is still up in Seattle, so perhaps they wanted an instant fill-in for those days or weeks when he's with his family...
Weird because he didn't use Leah in the same way as Ziegler.

Leah came off as a real bubblehead. I cannot imagine Kennedy will have the same role.

From what I've heard which is little, Suits in and of himself is a train wreck.

Whatever your opinion of Ziegler may have been he was certainly more interesting and challenging than Brian Suits can ever hope to be. My KFI listening is presently confined to the first couple of hours of Handel so I have only heard Suits on a few occasions and it hurt, I have to say that I was actually embarrassed for him. He sounds like the local host from a daytime station in East Nowhere Nebraska. He is, however, definitely obsequious toward John Kobylt (the brown coloration on his nose must be astonishing) so his future should be more secure than Ziegler's was.

When does the duo start together?

It's apparently being called Kennedy & Suits.

Kennedy actually sounds less annoying than usual, but Suits sounds like a grandparent compared to her.

"Hey, a talk show host who actually SERVED in Iraq!"

That sounded like a great idea....until the show had to be entertaining and the gimmick just wasn't enought to sustain.

When programmers stop hiring based on political issues, talkradio might become a bit more interesting.

That being said, I just heard Kennedy ask suits what the "green zone" is in Iraq.

Oy vey. WHat a maroon.
