Heard it through a grapevine that morning talent Tessa Hall was let go sometime in the past couple days.

They are plugging a Wild Wake-up show coming soon. I did not hear who was hosting.

Maybe Stan is on his way back???

All Access is reporting today that Scotty Wylde from U93 in South Bend, along with his co-host there, Lindsey, will be joining KHTT in the near future.

Interesting, I know the Beat has taken a lot of the morning listeners from them. We need a good CHR battle.

What happened to Tessa? She was very good. Why didn't they team her up with the new guy?

I wonder if she will stay in Tulsa??

I noticed that she is not on the web page anymore so it must be official. I thought she was good too.

How can any of you actually think that she was good? She was HORRIBLE!!!! She had nothing to say that was interesting or funny!

Now that the new morning show has been on 106.9 for a week, does anyone have any thoughts?

I have heard the new 102.3 morning guy when he was in Arkansas. He is good too. We have a mutual friend that also says good things about him.

There are also rumors about a lineup change on KBEZ. A friend of mine that did promotions there and is related to someone on our staff has heard rumblings. Seems like the new PD is going to do a shift. No idea what daypart.

Seems like the days of off-air PDs has gone the way of cart decks and turntables.

It is not just Tulsa. In markets much larger, the PD does pull a shift. They usually pull a 2 to 3 hour shift.
I think it makes sense. If they don't have a regular shift, they should fill-in or even voice-track a shift. Keeps them in the game.

I don't see a station like KBEZ keeping their PD off-air for long. Haven't heard the new show on KHITS. I did hear the 92.1 show talking about them. Always great when you can get the competition to promote your new show.

Enjoy your Labor Day. I hope most of you got to track your shows.
