More Music; NONSTOP JAMMING.

101.5 JamZ, jams, and when 101.5 JamZ jams, no other station that jams jams, jams jams better once JamZ jams the jams they jam; And when they do that, I call it

NONSTOP JAMMING.

101.5 JamZ also has the hottest mixes, and there is no other station that can mix jams like JamZ once they mix the jams they mix. Other stations might try to copy their style, but almost nothing ever seems to compare, and the only things other stations can mix better are juice and hot chocolate.

Well, I must say that 101.5 JamZ is really sounding good right now. Imaging, formatting, and everything. There are a few improvements I believe could be made to make things more live and fun, but as for now, they are really sounding good for who they are! I'm loving the new imaging and promos that have been added in, and out of all stations over this past Memorial Day Weekend, I must say 101.5 JamZ was absolutely THE BEST when it came to providing a fresh, upbeat, live sounding quality party mixshows and atmosphere. I remember listening mostly on Sunday evening and I could not resist feeling like I was super hyper, even though I was home alone, working on my own mixes at the time!

101.5 JamZ is sounding GREAT, and I'm loving the more music weekends AND mornings. This is pretty much the rhythmic sound I've been yearning for since the death of 103.9 Arizona's Party Station. Great on airs, great DJ's, great sound, greatness all around. However, although I have much love for KZON, there are a few extra little things I wish they'd consider (or put into action).

1. The male to female on-air ratio - I wish there was a bit more female voice action going on during the week and more of an evened out male to female on-air schedule. I am glad that my wish for more Jasmine (that I brought up here a few times in the past) did finally come true (hmmmm) but it would be nice to have the male followed by female, then male then female...etc flow going (again).

2. More Mixshows - I wish more mix shows would be considered. I'm not asking for them to overdo it, but just adding in a basic noon (whether back in the day or current rhythmic hits) and evening (around 9, or 10p-midnight) mixshow in addition to what they already have going on would be quite lovely. A new music show at a specified time featuring hot new jams would be nice as well, and maybe a tad more club remixes of rhythmic hits acknowledged during mixshows, rather than just doing it sometimes and sticking to the original version of certain hits in the mix. A late night show similar to San Fransisco's Club 99.7 on KMVQ would be perfect as well on weekends.. Holiday's and weekends sound fine as they are, but something on Sunday nights would be great, too.

For now, that's pretty much all that I could ask for. The playlist does seem a bit tight at times, but... it's good enough for right now, although I would prefer them to be a bit faster with adding in or featuring new music. I was disappointed that they were last at adding in the new Enrique Iglesias ft Pitbull & Lionel Richie track, and were not first with the new Black Eyed Peas, but am glad they did get them in. When it comes to the rhythmic sound, KZON is the best, although KZZP is better when it comes to new music first, and KKFR is also to a certain extent at times. Lastly, I do wish that KZON did pitch their music, and not have certain song edits that are much faster than normal, such as Akon's "beautiful" and  one of Jeremih's "Birthday Sex" remix edits that they have. Overall, they sound great. 101.5 JamZ jams, and JamZ is truly good at jamming the jams they jam, once they jam the jams they jam.

I really wish 97.1 AMP Radio would sound like that or follow their other sister CBS CHR stations. AMP Radio is just an iPod, no mixshows, not dance-friendly, too bland and boring. 101.5 JamZ has variety at least. Come on AMP, get off the sack and sound better. That would probably even beat KIIS-FM.
