More NBC Woes

I know we keep hearing about the big three (or four if you include FOX) laying off people, but we have yet to heard from any of the cable networks (that aren't owned by the big three (or four)...such as the Turner Broadcasting, Time Warner (who owns Turner, but also CNN,) etc.

How are they doing?
Do they have layoffs coming also?
If not, is cable becoming more profitable than the traditional "OTA" television network?

Also, who is being laid off at the big three? Just curious, is it production personal, on-air personal, operations personal, who?
