More new Omnia.One FM presets

Hello again!

More new Omnia.one presets available on my site built around my new "version2 under the hood" tweaks.

Available now for your enjoyment:

CGBigAC - A beefed up CGSmooth preset
CGBigCHR - Some additional under the hood tweaks for a surprisingly competitive CHR sound from this little box!
CGBigUrban - For the Urban / Dance formats out there.

The Version 2 presets feature extremely transparent high end regardless of how you pound on the controls. See details in my previous post.

The presets can be downloaded here:
http://www.cgould.com/index.php?option=com_docman&task=cat_view&gid=26&Itemid=30

Have fun!

-Cornelius

p.s. - Coming soon...format specific CG presets for Omnia. One multicast!

Some minor tweaks based on some feedback so far...

The main comment is that the presets are great, but a bit too conservative on the clipper settings. They're right, I stayed way out of the clipper on these. The really good news is that there is tons of room to bring up the clipper drive for plenty of loudness. The presets have all been updated if you wish to download the tweaked ones...otherwise, just crank up the clipper drive a couple of dB's or so (depending on your market) to get more loudness.

Glad you're enjoying them!

Some new presets posted on the site, both from me, and Omnia. One power users. They are:

CGBigROK - Here's a preset made by Wes Keene. He took the CGbigCHR preset, and tweaked it for rock music formats.
Cool stuff for that big active rock sound!

CGclsRock - Here's a preset for Classic Rock / Rock / Triple-A formats.
Over the years folks have always commented on my Classic Rock processing sound. This is built on that tradition.

ERCK_8100 - Mike Erickson took the CGSmthAC presets and molded them into an interesting one.
ERCK_8100 is Mike's nod to his favorite audio processor, and provides this one for the Omnia. One aimed at fans of an old classic!
He notes that this preset has a low clip drive, so you may want to adjust to suit to your tastes.

JACK_BASS - JACK_BASS is another preset from Mike Erickson. Obviously, this one is aimed at the Jack style formats out there!

LegatoCafe - Some folks have stumbled across my LegatoCafe.net internet station, and really loved the open dynamic sound of the processing.
Well...if the internet station was a broadcast FM station - using the Omnia.one...this is what it would sound like :)

CG_NPR - A preset designed around NPR programming. (Specifically NPR Talk)
The thought here is to provide enough "transparent" gain riding to get through the various programs.

This preset is tweaked around the most often used NPR programs, so it may prove useful to tweak the Wideband AGC gating to match any programs from Content Depot that may be outside the range of what I provide here....

Check out the site for alternate Omnia. One and Omnia.6 presets from me and some of our power users!!
