More Number Onest

In spite of being on AM...in spite of the Wheel Of Hosts..in spite of Joe Crummey from El Lay, looks like another big win for KFWhyEye. Perhaps the Old Gringo can tell us what happened to News 92~Three, where Hip Hop used to live, as Arbitron is reporting only KT'R AM ratings. And Nurse Jeff reminds me there's only 13 days left until Sports Parking Lot 6~twenty debuts! What's next? Krazy Kid subbing for Gaydos??

KTAR elected "single line reporting" where a 100% simulcast that is 84 days on the air will be reported as one station as it is one "piece" of programming.

The interesting thing is that KTAR has pretty much doubled its 25-54 numbers since the simulcast began, and is now 7th in the market if I count right... KFYI is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down there at 14th in the key sales demo.

Another example of single line reporting is KOMR/KQMR which appear combined as KQMR; single line reporeting has been in effect nationally for a year now.

you are so wrong about the ratings, we know something you don't know. 92.3 is a smash

Must be those Liebowitz endorsements for the Schwartz Eye Clinic that still reference the Summer Special. Guess TMISU are too busy planning Sports Parking Lot 6~twenty to listen to News 92~three, where Hip Hop used to live.

Riddle Nurse Jeff and me this, Lovable 1 - think those money demos would be so good if KFWhyEye was on 96~nine? ???

Jay -

You are truly one of the nicest guys in the biz. And a legend: for God's sake, you worked at KFI! But you are terribly wrong on this one. I saw the breakouts and things don't look good for 'TAR.... Enry Iggins might wait, but with Pat on the air, Audrey Hepburn's still selling flowers on the street... :-\

i saw some good signs for both in the first 2 trends.. should be a good battle!!!!

Actually, they look GREAT for KTAR. The move to FM has got to be one of the smartest decisions of 2007 in the Valley of the Sun.

The FM has caused the 25-54 to essentially double in 25-54 in the discreet month of November, in fact... KTAR (AM & FM) is now 7th in the sales demo and KFYI is 14th.

Keep in mind that KTAR elected single line reporting, which went into effect as soon as 84 survey days of full simulcast had gone by.

Just you wait Enry Iggins just you wait.

You are so hip, Luvable 1...who would EVER think of referencing a 42 year old movie? The Nurse and I look forward to hearing you sub on the next McBland Group. In the meantime, you still haven't answered our question: think KT'R would do as well in the money demos if KFWhyEye was on 96.9?

;D Is it raining where you are? ;D

Me, personally, I prefer "Colon Blow" to the standard bran. Might be just what the Dr. ordered!!

listen to kfnx 1100 for information on how to order yours today.

Zuma, you are so angry.

Eat more bran.

Anger? Moi? You guys are far too funny for anger - like the two old grumps on the Muppet Show, stuck in 1979.

Nice comeback, really

(as he slowly backs away with a fake smile on his face and looks for an escape route)

RE: if they were on 96.whatever. AS long as they have Rush and S H, in tandem they will be a powerhouse. FM would not change their am or pm drive, both of which KTAR beats handily. When the new shows hit KTAR, Ankarlo, evening hosts, etc. and with the money that Bonneville is prepared to spend promoting 92.3 it wouldn't matter where they are on what dial. They add another strident angry voice with the addition of M savage newxt week. There is no entertainment value to just anger.

92.3 entertains.

Akbar thanks for the nice comments, and to the subscriber who discusses the ratings (counting both stations after a certain number of days) you are so right. The monthly for that time is absolutely incredible. That's why I say just you wait.
