Alright, no one has time between the bomb throwing to explain why Steve Mace is leaving ... Here's another one. Has anyone heard the new "Rollye James" show on KLRD? Does anyone recall what led to her being terminated by KLBJ? How many talk show hosts have continued their shows after explaining to the secret service why they called on the air for the assassination of the vice president?

Amazing how some folks don't realize that there are things that just aren't said, in private much less on the radio. Words in the heat of the moment, perhaps?

I nearly wrecked when I heard it on the air. She was railing about Clinton, when a caller said "Where is Lee Harvey Oswald when we need him". Rollye didn't hit the dump button. Instead, she replied "If you get him, you'll have to get Gore too... He's just as bad". Great moment in radio. They tore up her contract. She sued and won. They paid her off, she left town and got another talk show in another city.

Considering the politcal climate in Austin is liberal, small wonder she was fired. In Dallas she probably would have been sung with high praise.None the less she is here,to counter balance Rush ,etc. and radio sinks further into the abyss.

What's with her '70s Farrah Fawcett hair?

Looks like she's been around the block once ... or twice ... or ...

And what kind of name is Rollye?

Her last name ought to be Poly. Long O.

Heard her a few times on KLBJ. On the KRLD website, she talks about the crackpots that call her.

Actually, she is the biggest crackpot I have ever heard. She is as nutty as they come, and that is saying something in talk radio.

From what I know, Mace got another offer that he was curious about. It was a career decision that has no link with anything else. But I would like to hear more speculations.

Rollye sounds like a crazy... I Look forward to what she will come out with. Lets tune in!

I believe she is the love child of Art Bell and Ann Coulter. This person had to have done something to get her own show. She certainly doesn't have the ability .

Geez, I've just lost my appetite.

For food ... and sex :)

Hell, KRLD doesn't have any "ability" either.

Look at their ratings.

50,000 wasted watts ...

Might as well beam it straight into the Gulf.
