romano has had discussions in relation to wyyys performance over the year. the decision still hasnt been made but the thought process is that since rowe started on tv she has cared less about the radio product and more about her tv performance. the ratings for the tv show are dismal and the ratings for the radio station she oversees are dismal. galaxy suprising wyyy rowe and delmonico with wzun going christmas is also not going over well. a complete overhaul is being considered. there are more rumblings out of galaxy and although its not clear it is thought to involve another market other than syracuse. utica perhaps since its performing above expectations in ratings but below expectations in sales. more dismay coming from the citadel camp as legrett looks at former wqxa active rock pd as a replacement for mitchell. the lack of leadership being the main sticking point as well as big money marketing which is now considered a waste. normally a cluster the size of syracuse wouldnt be a priority for citadel but the brutal loss of money the spending of a great deal of money in a short time and the national headlines in relation to sterns departure as raised the clusters profile.
