Soon, the WDJO license will be up for renewal. It will be six weeks away from the September 1 deadline for objections to the license renewal. I wonder, I wonder how many objections to the license renewal would possibly be on file? Each and everyone of you could stop by the WDJO office building at the Channel 19 studios and ask to see the public file to see if there have been any objections to the license renewal, any takers?

Finally, there has been another departure from the Kauffman empire. Roger's longtime friend and good buddy, Bill Koenig has left the building on July 3rd, just as Elvis has left the building. Will the last person leaving 'DJO, please turn out the lights? A sad ending to my favorite format, love those oldies. :'(
 
Why would we? You're the troll with the ax to grind against WDJO. If you're so curious, go look at it yourself.

Better yet, file the objection yourself. Stand up and exercise your voice.

What exactly is your deal NDXU? Seriously, if you have that major of an axe to grind, man up, file an objection and then you'll become publicly known. Over a low watt radio station serving a niche audience, nicely may I add :) With all of the other stations in town that you could grouse about, why 1480? Aren't any stations in town not following modulation rules, tower lighting or markings, public file requirements or any of the other goodies the field office goes after?

Still wondering...why not file your objection? What are you afraid of? You have a MAJOR problem with SOMEBODY or SOMETHING at WDJO. So come out of the basement, be a man and file an objection with the FCC. Or just be a butt pimple on a gossip board. Your choice.

NDXU never answers anyone though. I mean...why would someone complain at DJO's license renewal? He won't say. Why is he too scared to go view the public file himself? He won't say. Who at WDJO urinated in his grain-based breakfast product? He won't say.

He's just a troll and it's a hot day and I just decided for once to call him on it. I'll behave now though...I promise.
 
Again, just posting information and you are free to love it or hate it. I thought people would be interested. Used to work as a county officer, so if you think I am afraid, you are delusional. I guess it is just information that you do not want to hear, too bad. I do not know anyone at 'DJO, not one individual. However, I do know what goes on and I post it. Have never met Roger or anyone that works at 'DJO. I think I have stated that more than a few times. I take that back, I did meet Marty, years ago in the Summer of '87 with Scottie Jackson(1230 WDJO) at the St. Rita's Festival. Marty is truly of the greats on the radio. Scared, only in your wildest dreams ;D

Folks we need to cut NDXU Fan some slack. I originally thought that he was just causing trouble with some issue with Rodger and the crew.but after reading his posts for the last few months he seems to be accurate in his observations and comments. He doesn't seem to bear a grudge but does appear to be concerned with what is going on with the station. Many of us are disappointed with the shift to mostly 70's music and the narrowed list of songs they appear to be playing. He has had a pretty good average on his information and predictions. I feel his comments are worth a read. Just one posters opinion.
 
Some here need to "GET A LIFE" and leave WDJO alone! That station is clearly a "Davy vs Goliath effort" in the upper expanse of the AM band—with less-than 90-degree towers to boot. NO man is *really* "a MAN" when he assails the WEAK – leave them be! If they can survive by offering retrograde music to a few fans that need and appreciate that, they have "a place" on the dial.
Personally, I LIKE WDJO and am happy when I'm within their small distorted coverage area.
They DO NOT deserve our "bleacher rebuke"!

Honestly, to me, I am just typing information, everyone is free to view it as they see fit to do so. It is not meant to mean, cruel, or nasty. It is just information to me and that is all. :) I listen to oldies, every single chance that I can, it is the greatest music of all time. Again, I really wish I was not right, I wish I was wrong. It makes me sad to see oldies going down the drain. :'(

Your "stuff" is not all sweetness & light; when you first started dumping on 'DJO you were VERY defensive. One of your replies to me bragged about your education and "accomplishments" & then ended curtly with "you?" Me? How 'bout 25 years in radio, mostly in Cincinnati... I'm now retired, and when I see the junk on these boards and hear the crap currently on-the-air I thank my lucky stars that I am!

My point is that I was approaching the issue from the simple standpoint of Economics 101. I only jumped your case when you insulted me. It is incredible that you survived 25 years in radio, which is not a simple trick. Not many businesses will survive when they conduct business as has WDJO.
