So, this morning, they were local. Sounded like Dennis Fuller, but I couldn't stick around long enough to make sure. I wonder if the satellite receiver finally crapped out on them, or if he's supposed to be the morning show, and if the latter, where he was yesterday. If your "talent" (pre-existing, in this case) can't even make it in on the first day, that doesn't bode well.

I was thinking a while ago that they need to try to get Ron Jordan out of that cab over in West Memphis and get him back on the air. No better pure talent has ever graced the airwaves around here, and he knows his classic country. For his sake, I hope he really has sworn off the business, but damn it would be good to hear him again, and I bet he could still get it done.

It probably was Fuller as he remains as PD of the station. He was PD in the latter months of it's failed news/talk venture, he was PD of it's failed sports format; maybe country will work for him.

Dennis Fuller sick days have become a well known event around 1960 Union. He may think his job is safe, but all his time off hasn't gone un-noticed by the suits.

Amazing when you compare the co-owned stations at night...

Tune to 780 and hear one of the finest news radio stations in the world out of Chicago....

Tune to 790 and hear poorly managed satellite programming that wouldn't even make it in Osceola much less Memphis.

CBS Radio can do so much better.

i listened last night for an hour. in livingston louisiana. came in good here actually. sound was cutting in and out however. not the signal. the music!<P ID="signature">______________

I listened to that morning show he did befoer flipping formats. AMAZING how those sick days just happened to fall on a Friday and/or a Monday. Did anyone notice that at 1960 Union?

I listened down here in jackson, MS last night and it was still popping off. WMC can sometimes be heard down here but its hard to get. When it was coming in the audio sounded ok, if it would quit cutting off. They should have pulled the plug and put the station on auto-pilot until they got the gremlins worked out. I would have never put anything on the air if it was doing that.
