Apparently, the FCC thinks some of the folks in the Valley have been, well, supplementing their paychecks....

What about Paulino Bernal's KUBR? He pretty much only plays the music his groups play at their ''Fiestas Cristianas.'' There are about half a dozen brokered Spanish language religious stations in the Valley.

Well, I guess if he's playing his OWN music, that doesn't really fall under the category of payola! I think my old station KRGV AM fell under his control, along with KRIO (910) and a couple of others. Kind of sad, but that's the shape of AM in the RGV....
