I made a phone call to WSMB this afternoon. I was told they were supposed to flip to Air America Radio today but they need a part for their satellite receiver. So, rather than make the flip in the middle of this week, they will do it next Monday, July 25th.

I made a phone call to WSMB this afternoon. I was told they were supposed to flip to Air America Radio today but they need a part for their satellite receiver. So, rather than make the flip in the middle of this week, they will do it next Monday, July 25th.

Nah, it'll be on WWL only after the flip to AAR. Now that move makes sense.
Not much to it, but 1380 in BR has their site up...it's under their old address as I'm sure they're trying to find a proper one. I checked am1380.com and that's taken. But you can see their logo if you're that interested.

What I find weird is WSMB decided to go more after the whole AAR lineup unlike WYNK-AM... Is it because NOLA is a bigger city and AAR put it in their contract?
YNK-AM on the weekend has Jesse Jackson (from Premeier Radio networks), I wonder if this will be on SMB or not as I beleive this would be a ratings booster considering the beleivers in Jackson.
Also two key words on Fitzsmorris, ratings and infomercial..can't deny that revenue....

Are they carrying the regular programming or stunting or did they put on Air America Radio after they received and connected their satellite receiving equipment (which would mean not waiting until Monday, July 25, as I was told they were going to do after the original launch was postponed this past Monday)?
