More Shake Ups at DAVE?

My sources at Colony Square are telling me that effective Monday, February 4th, Rich Sullivan will be shifting his shift an hour and be on from 2pm-6pm. Obviously, Mara Davis will lose an hour and be able to spend more time with Charlie. Does this mean Margot Smith is changing too or are they bringing in someone else for nights, perhaps someone with an "Organic" background? If only our intrepid Radio Reporter at the AJC could was able to speak with people at DAVE.

A 9 - 3 shift for Mara is pretty excessive so not so bad to move sully up by an hour. ALthough I say enough with the Retro in the Metro. To me it is such a turn off for a drive time hour. Too polarizing. It is my biggest complaint about the station.

Give CBS some credit, Clear Channel would be voicetracking all over the place if they were managing 92.9.

Excessive yes and so is her chatter on air, love her voice but it's a blessing to lose an hour of all that talk!

Clear Channel MIGHT AS WELL be managing 92.9. They got Mike Wheeler, the Marc Chase protoge who helped run CC Atlanta in the ground, as their Program Destroyer.

I like Mara very much and also enjoy Margot a lot. Sully knows the music, is creative and is a good conversationalist. But he doesn't have the voice or delivery for afternoon drive in a major market. Getting Steve Craig would be a huge coup. With the new morning show and Mara, I'm sure they're already dishing out a fair amount in salaries.
