More stupid KTAR programming decisions

Arizona's News, Weather, and Traffic now adding NBC 1190's castoffs, with Larry King joining nights midnight-1am. Has anybody in a rated market actually aired the radio version of this show since 1997? The increasingly flaky America at Night makes way, also giving Jim Bohannon his full three hours before AITM at 4. And thank God, Clark Howard's back to two hours 10-midnight.

It's a good thing the "Live Local First" imaging is gone, as they're 11 hours old at 10pm, 5 hours old at midnight, and 5 hours old at 1am. Could the roster of boring talk hosts get any worse at 620? If they continue at this pace, Ted Simons could be getting bumped for the new weekday Satellite Sisters show.

Much as I may think there were better candidates for 550's night gig than a Saturday night talker from market #70, you've got to hand it to Ms. Cantillo for at least allowing herself to win by default.

And this would be a bad thing?

;-)

It could be worse.

They could put Bruce "let me tell you how much better and smarter I am than you" Williams on.

How does that pompous, dull idiot stay on the radio.

As for the Satellite Blisters, use their show as punishment for prisoners, along with Matt Gerson attempting to do funny voices for radio ads.

OOOOOOOFFFF!

Larry King was originally on KTAR when he only had his radio show

Give the Chick-boss her props as she is programming KFYI as well as The Men In Secret Underwear are screwing up KT'R! Nurse Jeff and I thought the Emmis Brain Trust was pretty weak, but TMISU are taking KT'R to a new low. Does anyone think Heidi Fogelsong adds anything to PMD? Bite the bullet..hire Liddy & Hill (who sound better than Joe Crummy in PMD) and give the Chick-boss a run. Bruce Kelly's available and we're sure he has more of a clue than KT'R's PD.

I stopped listening when they changed the content of the sports show that used to air every night. it wasn't the best show on the air, but it was also the only local sports show on at night when i was working.
