With the upcoming fall season just over a month away I have been doing some thinking. It appears that Channel 2 will be the biggest winner for daytime syndication in HD. Oprah and Entertainment Tonight go HD and that means that only the soaps & R&K (that may change), ABC News (that will soon change) will be in SD during the day. Channel 11 will also gain as they already put Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy in HD (on TV 36), but Dr Phil and Insider will be HD this fall so 11 will be SD at 11am,1-5pm and HD from 5-8pm. I see that Ellen shown on 46 will also be in HD but I don't know if we will get to see it.
I would assume all our local full power stations are capable of recording and bringing us HD syndicated product in addition to network shows.
